Abstract/Summary
MT100 Conversion System in an Information system that processes outgoing c received from different UCPB branches. The system aims to facilitate the current processing procedure of MT100 transaction using existing bank resources. It is a subpart of the SWIFT telecoms project, proposed by Trade and Finance team to streamline and improve information transfer from different UCPB branches to UCPB head office.
The development of the MT100 Conversion System includes verification of MT100 transaction information, and the validation of MT100 transaction test key values. It also includes conversion of successfully validated MT100 transaction to SWIFT-standardized format. The system provides an edit erroneous transaction function that support system users in correcting erroneous MT100 transaction. It also generates reports, such as the erroneous transaction report, uploaded transaction report, that will help telecoms department and UCPB branches monitor the processing of MT100 transactions.
