Abstract/Summary
With the Boom of Online Communities especially the creation of numerous personal webpages, self presentation is now being put in question especially I the online context. Self-Presentation is the conscious or unconscious attempt to control images that are projected in real or imagined situations (Goffman, 19590 and with the actor-audience scenario people would be able to convey messages as an actor and emit attributes that is socially acceptable during a face to face situation, but what is physicality suddenly disappear what then?
The two basic forms of personality (Santrock, 2002) namely introversion and extroversion are on focus on this paper under the theory of temperament. Different studies have shown that both have a distinct relationship among ones online webpage and their action towards them (Lu&Hsiao,2009).
