Abstract/Summary

This project study is aimed at developing experiments which will serve as a useful tool in the study of Digital Signal Processing. The bulk of the work of the project proponent consisted of documentation. He painstakingly and carefully translated a Japanese manuscript entitled An Experiment in Digital Signal Processing , which has been developed at the Laboratory of Professor Mahoki Onoda, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology, into an English text. He had to use his best knowledge on the subject, employing pertinent technology, translation techniques, technical writing, and editing methods. As a result of this, the author is able to write his own program and give an example of an experiment showing how a waveform is transformed to another form by FFT analysis. The proponent did not attempt to make another textbook on Digital Signal Processing in any form (e.g. concise, comprehensive, etc., because a significant number of books are already available in the market. Neither did the author preempt the next generation of DLSU's ECE students, who may desire to continue this work on how to make an experiment for future use. Let their creativity actualize this idea. The sole objective of the proponent is to set a groundwork on it.
