Abstract/Summary
This study was made to determine the importance of wellness programs in business organizations, Furthermore, it determined how activities should be tailored to the needs of its participants.
The proponents conducted an experiment on a textile factory for a month. With the help of a survey conducted before the program, they were able to plan the appropriate activities for implementation. Another survey was conducted after the program to assess participants' perception on their health, as well as their productiveness at work. The productivity two weeks before and after the experiment was compared. The productivity during the experiment was also studied. Interviews before and after the experiment were conducted on the participants' supervisors to help assess participants' progress.
This study employed the frequency method in tabulating and analyzing survey results. Line graphs were used to illustrate changes in productivity. The surveys and interviews conducted had favorable results, as the perception of the employees on their health and productivity had positively changed after the program. Also, their productivity increased. This revealed that the wellness program was successfully implemented. As a bonus, the participants enjoyed the program, as evidenced by their continuous participation.
