Abstract/Summary
The study involves the analysis of the traffic flow along the South Luzon Expressway.
The study relates the flow, density and speed of vehicles traversing the expressway. It looks at the behavior of vehicles whether they are at their proper lane or not. Volume of vehicles per lane was determined and was compared to each other. Vehicles were classified into four types and were compared to determine whether they stay at their right position. The volume per vehicle type was also determined to find out how much of the total volume it comprises.
