The 1st DLSU ARCHERS was a two-day online activity, which served as a national convergence of educational practitioners, teachers, curriculum planners, instructional leaders, and policy-makers in Basic Education from all over the Philippines. Drawing on expertise from various disciplines, the Congress featured multi-disciplinary research presentations that interweave the strategic priorities on Education, Research, and Sustainability.
Studies under these disciplinal themes are centered on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) touched upon the key areas in the teaching and learning process and the school’s instructional leadership, such as (1) teaching strategies, (2) learning assessments, (3) curriculum development, (4) teacher training, and (5) stakeholders’ engagement. In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, there was also a presentation of learning plans showcasing innovative strategies in instruction and assessment.
Furthermore, the DLSU ARCHERS provided training and mentoring sessions. A plenary session and mentoring break-out room sessions were administered; hence, participants met and socialized with different teachers from different schools.
