Abstract
RECENTLY, THE ASIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT in cooperation with the Hong Kong based First Pacific Group of Companies, sponsored a series of lectures on Asian Managers. Indeed, the avowed purpose of the Asian Institute of Management, since its foundation in 1968, is to train Asian managers for Asia. Initially, it did this by trying to Asianize the cases in its courses; more recently, it has sponsored research and publications onn indigenizing marketing (Eduardo Roberto) and management styles (Victor Limlingan).
