Abstract
Sa patuloy na pagbubuo ng konsepto ng panitikang pambansa at kanong pampanitikan sa Pilipinas, mahalagang sipatin ang interbensiyong nagmumula sa rehiyon. Tinatalunton sa pag-aaral na ito kung gaano kasalimuot ang pag-uugnay ng panitikang pambansa at panitikang rehiyonal sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuri sa mga lantad na politika ng pagbubuo ng piling antolohiyang pampanitikan mula sa mga rehiyon ng bansa. Sa pag-aaral na ito, sinisipat kung paano binubuo ng mga iskolar at antolohista ng panitikan mula sa rehiyon ang panitikang rehiyonal. Lampas sa madalas nang pagpokus sa pagsusuri ng mga malikhaing akda at panitikan mula sa rehiyon, sinisipat ng pag-aaral na ito ang politikal, ideolohikal o konseptuwal na pagbubuo ng mga antolohiya ng panitikang rehiyonal. Sa dulo, nagbibigay ng alternatibong pagsipat, sa pamamagitan ng mga tanong-interbensiyonal, bilang kritikal na ambag-diskurso sa nagpapatuloy na diskurso ng panitikang rehiyonal at panitikang pambansa.
(Pursuing the conception-development continuum of national literature and literary canon in the Philippines necessitates the study of interventions from the regions. This article provides insights to the intricate relationship between national literature and regional literature through a discursive analysis of the politics behind the formation of select regional literary anthologies. This article provides a critical frame to how literary scholars and anthologists from the region conceptualize regional literature. Instead of focusing on the literary analysis of creative writings and literatures from the regions, this work surveys the political, ideological, or conceptual modes of creating anthologies of regional literatures. This paper then humbly articulates an alternative method, through intervening inquiries, as a possible contribution to discoursing regional literature and national literature.)
