Abstract

In this paper, family planning program inputs in the Philippines are related to performance in terms of couple years of protection and births averted. Trends in expenditures over time and the breakdown of expenditures are presented. With the passage of time the portion of indirect expenditures increased. The increase in acceptance over time as well as the rise in the cost per acceptor and per-couple year of protection with increase in program volume as noted.
