Abstract

Job satisfaction has received so much attention in the organizational sciences than most topics. Organizations today focus much attention on measuring and improving their employees' attitudes because they are of great value to organizations. In the current time of economic and technical change and the present trend of globalization, management needs to reconsider the economic value of satisfaction and seek to understand its components. The present study aims to compare the public and private sector employees in the Philippines in terms of their preferences of job factors that may influence job satisfaction. It specifically aims to find out what are the job factors that are prominent among the two sectors and which ones significantly influence job satisfaction.
