Abstract
In this paper, we discuss the mathematical foundation of PageRank algorithm using the notion of diagraphs, matrices, linear algebra and Markov chain. The paper is an exposition if a chapter entitled Google and PageRank algorithm in the book Mathematics and technology written by C. Rosseau and Y. Saint-Aubin.
