Abstract
This study is a descriptive analysis of some linguistic items in spoken discourse and the respondents were the non-Tagalog speakers residing in Taguig. This study sought to analyze selective linguistic items and and describe the emerging Tagalog variety in Taguig. Specifically, this study aimed to: 1. Describe several linguistic items in Tagalog as used by non-Tagalog speakers in Taguig. 2. Examine the factors that influence the changes in structure of Tagalog-Taguig. 3. Describe the emerging variety of Tagalog in Taguig.
