Abstract
Cu2(B(3.5- diMe)BAPS)(µ-OME)2 (1) was reacted with (CH3)3SICI (2) to yield a [µ-Si(CH3)2] (3) dicopper complex. The reaction, separation and drying of the product was carried out under dry nitrogen condition. The reaction was monitored using TLC and the separations were done using column chromatography. The product was characterized using IR, NMR, UV-Vis and ES-MS. Analysis of the separated product firmly supports the yielding of Cu2(B(3.5- dime)BAPS)(µ-Si(CH3)2)2(H2O)2
