Their learnings and the impact of the sessions in their daily life was also explored. Content analysis was used to examine participants’ responses. Results showed that the participants gained greater awareness on the effects of stress in their illness, leaner and applied different coping strategies for stress, and practice a healthier lifestyle. They also recognized the role of psychologists in providing support for diabetes patients and expresses the need for other institutions to provide the same support.
