Abstract
The primary objective of this study was to assess the effectiveness of the computer preventive maintenance service elements of Don Bosco Technical College in Mandaluyong City as gleaned by the college technical staff. Specifically, it sought answers to the following question:
1. What is the profile of the respondents?
2. What is the perception of technical staff towards the different computer PM service elements?
3. What problems are encountered by technical staff?
4. What improvements are suggested by the technical staff?
The methodology included population frame of 18 technical staff of Information System and technology Center of Don Bosco Technical College.
The descriptive approach was used in this study. A questionnaire was the source of data to respond to the sub-problem and main problem.
The data were collated and were treated statistically using percentage and weighted mean to determine the extent of the significance of each variables in relation to technical staff's assessment of computer preventive maintenance program and practices.
