Abstract
Existing SIP-based VoIP call system uses the vertical model to handle security management. However, the goal of this paper is to propose Software Defined Security Controller (SDSC)-based Security Management (SDSCSM) scheme to overcome the limitation that existing vertical model confronts with the latency problem in dealing with end-to-end packet key-based security management. The proposed SDSCSM scheme enables each peer to easily obtain the necessary security parameters required to manage the packet key-based security system. Finally, this paper compares the SDSCSM scheme with the existing vertical model to prove the advantageous effects on the SDSCSM scheme. © 2019 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
