Abstract

The Nicene Creed professes belief in a God who is a creator of the world and everything in it. With this conviction, care for the world and the environment is not simply a socio-political, cultural issue, but it is bound up with the Christina faith. Thus drawing insights from pertinent church documents, this paper succinctly outlines the Catholic principles and their implications on the thrusts to the preservation of the environment.
