Abstract
This paper will show that Martin Heidegger's philosophy has some elements that could help identify the causes of the deterioration of the quality of the environment. Moreover, his philosophy proposes a way of life and certain values that can be considered environment-friendly. It is important to promote them because they are non-aggressive and offers lasting solution to our economic problems nowadays. It is an urgent need of our time to come up with a workable solution to the environmental problems and this paper is a noble response to this call.
