Abstract
Chemical investigation of the fruit of Garcinia binucao (Blanco) afforded a mixture of β-sitosterol (1) and stigmasterol (2) in a 3:2 ratio and monounsaturated and saturated triglycerides (3). The structures of 1-3 were identified by comparison of their 1H NMR data with those reported in the literature.
