Abstract

Between 1911 and 1945, De La Salle Brothers from Ireland contributed significantly to the growth and development of what is now De La Salle University. This article tells the story of these early years from the perspective of the Irish teaching brothers whose vision was shaped by the philosophy of St. John Baptist de la Salle.
