Abstract
A simple way of designing a circuit for CRC-16 is by the use of a series of D flip flops to effect the shifting of binary data necessary to generate the parity bits. The Algorithmic State Machine (ATM) shall be incorporated to control the timing sequence of the circuit designed. The circuit shall be capable for both encoding and decoding purposes.
