Abstract

The paper presents a review of the current literature on forgiveness highlighting how different studies conceptualize and define the construct. It also shows the different theories and models in the study of forgiveness. Correlates and predictors of forgiveness and the issues affecting the studies of forgiveness are included. The author believes that qualitative methods like phenomenology can remedy the issues affecting the research in forgiveness.
