Abstract

Youth entrepreneurship recognizes the contribution of the young adult to the economic output of a market. Exciting as it prospers, the prognosis is still a wait and see. Just like any entrepreneurial activity, youth entrepreneurship differs mainly in the age category of the players of this activity. Given the nature of young adult, several constraints present more arduous arguments than for an adult entrepreneur. Most restrictive of these constraints is the issue of financing. Review attempts to elaborate available literature of financing youth enterprises. It is surprising that the relative importance of credit for youth enterprises in developing country like the Philippines is only a point apart from its counterparts in developed countries.
