Abstract

This paper reviews the conceptualization of resilience used in Asian research focused on adolescents. It also examines the risks and protective factors involved in adolescent resilience. These were outlined based on the review of literatures included. There was a total of 21 literatures integrated that are focused on adolescent resilience in Asia. This review also highlights gaps in existing research, including the lack of longitudinal and qualitative articles in the area of adolescent resilience, especially those in the Asian context/ culture
