Abstract
We analyze single mode characteristics of Teflon photonic crystal fiber (PCF) within the sub-terahertz (TH) region using full vector two-dimensional wave equation. Finite-difference time domain (FDTD) numerical method was used in calculating the guided modes supported by Teflon PCF. Numerical results show that parametrizing the hole diameter could influence the guided modes of Teflon PCFs.
