Abstract
This study reports the visiting users of the DLSU Libraries from May 2013- July 2015 through the readily available "Visiting User's Application Form" in the 7F Reference-Information Counter, The Learning Commons, Henry Sy Sr. Hall. This study was conducted to describe and assess the visiting users of the DLSU Libraries, to find their characteristics as patron, geographical location, type of affiliation, to evaluate and measure the efficiency of performance through service delivery of the DLSU Libraries based on the perception and satisfaction of visiting users, to find their research topics and what DLSU Libraries collections visiting users had used. The results of this study document, understand and analyze the experiences and outcomes of visiting users of DLSU Libraries in terms of the level of success of their research, the level of satisfaction for delivery of service and redefining the policies and guidelines for visiting users. This study may be significant to other libraries who may be interested in polishing their own visiting users' policies and ensuring onsite security of the school community.
