Abstract
Tin oxide snO2, manomaterial was fabricated on Silicon substrate using horizontal vapor phase growth technique using SnO2 powders. The grown materials were also compared to SnO2 nanomaterials with no substrate used. SEM image analysis indicated that the product consists of nanorods without SnO2 particles eiyh preferred orientation. The nanorods and nanobelts growing from the quartz tube are random in direction compared to those grown on Silicon substrates although the same growth technique was used.
