Abstract
Vegetation survey is made on the forest over limestone of Coron Island, Northern Palawan. This forest is characterized by low species diversity, density, and biomass, high occurrence of lianas, poor buttressing , and absence of dipterocarps and palms, Species composition is also distinct from the other forest types occuring in the Palawan mainland, i.e. lowland evergreen rainforests, forest over ultrabasic soils, deciduous forests, and montane forests.
