Abstract
The purpose of this article is on conceptualizing indicators of organizational effectiveness through an analysis of existing empirical studies, models and theories of organization and management. The study has an objective of evaluating the overall organizational effectiveness of De La Salle Araneta University (DLSAU) as perceived by its important human resource, the college faculty. After an analysis of wide literature, it was found that an assessment of organizational effectiveness is imperative for educational organization’s strategic planning process and provides direction towards attainment of goals. The results of this research have encompassed major education organizational issues and determined twelve effectiveness criteria vital to management’s strategic planning and organizational development. Research suggests that the school organization increase its effectiveness toward achieving the overall organization goals by considering the perspectives of the important human resource of an academic organization. School leaders are recommended to strongly align organization structure with its resources which serves as the organization's springboard. Implications for management to improve the overall effectiveness of the education organization would entail incorporating assessment results in the strategic planning process.
