Dr. Buenaventura Medina, Jr. and Dr. Ma. Stella Valdez, faculty members of the Filipino Department won in the 46th Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature. Medina won 1st place in the Filipino essay division while Valdez placed 2nd in the same division.
