The University Honors and Awards Committee named three Lasallians as recipients of the Bank of the Philippine Islands Science Awards for 1998. They were: Electronics and Communications Engineering majors Edzel Lapira and Richard Maje, and Conrado Ruiz, Jr., a BSCS-Software Technology major.
