Dr. Eric Punzalan of DLSU-Manila Chemistry Department was chosen as 1999 Outstanding Young Scientist in the field of Chemistry by the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST). Punzalan received a plaque and cash prize from NAST during the awarding ceremonies at the Manila Hotel.
