Writers from DLSU-Manila joined this year's batch of winners in the 49th Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature. Literature faculty Atty. Nicholas Pichay bagged the grand prize for his work, Babaeng Tilapia, Natagpuan sa Coastal Road, in the Filipino television play category. The Palanca Awards was established in 1950 by the Palanca family.
