The University Honors and Awards Committee named three Lasallians as the Bank of the Philippine Islands Science Awardees for Year 2000. They were: BS Computer Science majors Lewellyn Celestino and Jek Charlson Yu, and BS Civil Engineering student Bryan Christopher Que. The awarding ceremonies were held in March 2000 during the University Mission Statement Week.
