Description

Dr. Nicanor Tiongson of the Philippine Studies Department and Dr. Soledad Reyes of the English Language and Literature Department were among winners of the National Book Awards given by the Manila Critics Circle. Tiongson was cited for Kasaysayan ng Komedya sa Pilipinas: 1766-1982 and Reyes for Ang Nobelang Tagalog, both works of literary criticism.
