Description
Marcelino Foronda, Jr. and Efren Abueg were conferred the 1992 Gawad Pambansang Alagad ni Balagtas by the Unyon ng mga Manunulat sa Pilipinas. Abueg also received the Gawad KAPPIL para sa Lideratong Pampanguluhan for his valuable service as former president of the Kapisanan ng mga Propesor sa Filipino.
