The 1953 Green & White Annual was dedicated to Juan Y. Medrano, who has led little ones of La Salle in their first faltering steps towards the Crucifix of Christ. In every classroom of La Salle was a Crucifix. It was not a cross but a Crucifix that was in the classrooms. The cross was a symbol of pain, the Crucifix, of love. Christ was the difference between cross and Crucifix.
