Philosophy full professor, DLSU Fellow and holder of the Brother Lucian Athanasius Chair of Philosophy & Letters Dr. Florentino Timbreza received the Kabayan Gawad Guro 2002. Timbreza is known in DLSU as the only one who has been teaching the subject Pilosopiyang Filipino since 1984.
