Dr. Corinne Grace Burgos of the Mathematics Department flew to Berlin, Germany to receive the Jan Tinbergen Award sponsored by the International Statistical Institute (ISI) for her paper "Inference for Non-Ignorable Sampling Designs". She was the second Filipino to win the award.
