RiesgoVis: Assessing and visualizing evacuation suitability

Description

This lecture was about Marikina City that has been known to be prone to flooding whenever typhoons hit the country. A multi-criteria model was developed to evaluate the suitability of the evacuation centers in the city. To communicate the findings of this assessment, they developed RiesgoVis — an interactive storytelling web application that discusses the motivation for the study and the results of their findings.
