Abstract/Summary

The study focused on the concept of strategy and all its facets and principles as applied in a business model. Competitive strategies shall be determined so that the company being studied can enjoy a competitive advantage over its rivals in attracting customers and earning above-average profits, return on investment, and shareholder value to include both environmental and social dimensions. Results show that the significant problems the company is facing are the low inventory turnover, lack of structure in the organization to handle overall Marketing and Operations, missing important IT systems within the organization, and the reliance of business operations on a single trusted supplier. Proposed strategic plans were then crafted, considering the company's competitive advantage, capabilities, and limitations.
