Abstract/Summary
The creation and approval of trade budget process is a critical component of our business planning, enabling the organization to allocate resources and make informed decisions about marketing and sales activities. However, the traditional method of creating and approving trade budget forms can be time-consuming, error-prone and inefficient, leading to delays and inaccuracies. The integrative action research explores how the IC department under ICG Inc. (an FMCG manufacturing company) streamlined its trade budget creation and approval process by adopting the RACI matrix for creating and approving trade budget forms. The study analyzes the current challenges of the existing process and identifies critical success factors, such as stakeholder engagement, process mapping, and data management. The results show that the streamlined process reduced the time and effort needed to create and approve trade budget forms which foster accuracy, consistency and enhanced team collaboration
