Abstract/Summary

Minerva Agrivet Supply (MAS) is a merchandising company established in October 2020 located in Recto St., Brgy. Quipot, Tiaong, Quezon. The operational structure of this company is a dealership style, which is primarily engaged in the buying and selling of livestock feeds directly from manufacturing companies, specifically CJ Philippines, Inc., and supplying them to retailers, livestock farmers, and backyard growers. It is also engaged in retailing pet and gamefowl food and vitamins sourced from area suppliers, and distributors. Minerva Agrivet Supply adds value to the goods by building a reputable name and a reliable supply chain, distributing them to its different retailers, and selling them to their various customers. The target market Minerva Agrivet Supply is looking to tap into are backyard growers, pet owners, cockfighting enthusiasts, and commercial farms. Given the immense competition in this particular industry, the company plans to stay competitive by introducing high quality and new products in the Quezon and Batangas area and being one of the pioneer suppliers of a new brand in Southern Luzon. However, as an intermediary industry driven by a bigger industry, it is susceptible to threats faced by the agricultural and livestock industry, such as viral outbreaks. And as a new business, the company is more vulnerable to these threats, and in its first six months of operations, it has faced a few challenges. A business proposal was created for MAS in order to identify problems observed in the business’ first six months of operations and to develop strategies to improve the current system and processes of the business. The goal of this report, on the other hand, is to document the results of the activities done within the 12 months of implementation and to determine whether these activities have succeeded in helping the company improve its business processes.
