Abstract (English)

Agricultural development is a powerful driver of economic growth that increases household incomes, reduces poverty, promotes shared prosperity, and helps meet the food needs of the projected 9.7 billion people by 2050. Minimizing food waste often involves improving practices at various stages of the ASC, such as better storage methods, more efficient transportation, and optimized distribution systems. The main study area is Benguet, Mountain Province, located in Northern Philippines, known as the “Salad Bowl of the Philippines” because of its high production of upland vegetables. This study hopes to provide a more robust and efficient transportation of the produce through a skeletal route planning system that provides trip chaining opportunities in the study area using Excel and Excel Visual Basic Advance (VBA) with no internet connection after initialization. The study has proven that Excel VBA can be utilized to provide a skeletal route Planning system for the primary stakeholders of the study area.

Ang pag-unlad ng agrikultura ay isang malakas na tagapagsulong ng paglagong pang-ekonomiya na nagpapataas sa kita ng mga sambahayan, nagpapababa ng kahirapan, nagtataguyod ng pangkalahatang kasaganaan, at tumutulong na matugunan ang mga pangangailangan sa pagkain ng tinatayang 9.7 bilyong tao pagdating ng 2050. Ang pagbabawas sa pag-aaksaya ng pagkain ay kadalasang nangangailangan ng pagpapabuti ng mga kasanayan at pamamaraan sa iba't ibang yugto ng ASC (Agricultural Supply Chain), tulad ng mas mahuhusay na paraan ng pag-iimbak, mas epektibong transportasyon, at mas pinabuting sistema ng pamamahagi. Ang pangunahing lugar ng pag-aaral ay ang Benguet, Mountain Province, na matatagpuan sa Hilagang Pilipinas, na kilala bilang "Salad Bowl ng Pilipinas" dahil sa mataas na produksyon nito ng mga gulay sa kaitaasan (upland vegetables). Inaasahan ng pag-aaral na ito na makapagbigay ng mas matibay at epektibong transportasyon ng mga ani sa pamamagitan ng isang skeletal route planning system na nagbibigay ng mga pagkakataon para sa pagsusunod-sunod ng mga biyahe (trip chaining) sa lugar ng pag-aaral gamit ang Excel at Excel Visual Basic Advance (VBA) na hindi na nangangailangan ng koneksyon sa internet pagkatapos ng inisyalisasyon. Napatunayan ng pag-aaral na maaaring magamit ang Excel VBA upang makapagbigay ng isang skeletal route planning system para sa mga pangunahing kinauukulan (stakeholders) sa lugar ng pag-aaral.
