Abstract (English)
Abstract
This study examined the impact of resilience strategies on young professionals in the tourism and hospitality industry during the pandemic. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the research examined how four types of adversity, physiological, psychological, social, and financial—affected individual and external resilience strategies, and how these strategies predicted sustainable decent work outcomes. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed with JASP. Results showed that psychological and social adversities significantly predicted the activation of resilience, which in turn positively impacted psychological well-being, social connectedness, innovative work behavior, and digital adaptability. The study highlights the importance of micro- and macro-level resilience supports in promoting sustainable employment pathways. Implications for organizational policy, mental health initiatives, and career development frameworks in post-pandemic recovery are also discussed.
