Abstract/Summary
The researchers have conducted a single case study on how the digital transformation process of Earth and Shore Leisure Communities Corp. is influenced by the roles of the dependent variables Digital Leadership, Digital Sensing Capabilities, Digital Seizing Capabilities, and Digital Literacy. This study was conducted as qualitative research that aims to determine whether the four variables serve as leverage in achieving the digital transformation of a business. Interviews and focus group discussions with the integral members and department representatives were utilized to supply data for this study. The researchers determined that the four variables have a crucial role in the company’s digital transformation process. Moreover, the company still insists on maintaining some processes to be manual. A healthy balance between using the old-and-new systems and gradual transition were reiterated through and through. The use of technology has proven to help in achieving the goal of creating a distinct customer experience. The automation refined the processes that improved employee productivity and customer convenience. The company goes through rigorous research prior to acquiring any new technology, minimizing the possibility of ill-fitted technologies and wastefully spent resources. Furthermore, recommendations were presented to ESLCC in view of all the findings generated by the study.
