Abstract/Summary

Inspired by the events leading up to the 2022 presidential elections, former Vice President Leni Robredo’s campaign stood out among her opponents as young people joined together day-by-day in the run-up to the elections, participating directly by conducting house-to-house campaigns, organizing rallies, and offering free goods and services, which resulted in an exponential increase in volunteers. Youth supporters formed volunteer groups to raise awareness for advocacies and help fellow countrymen as a collective during the election period. Following the Stages of Group Development framework by Bruce Tuckman, the documentary introduces members of the Youth Vote for Leni-Kiko Manila and other youth groups as they journey through their experiences during and after the campaign. With the electoral loss of Robredo, many groups adjourned, but others continued their volunteer initiatives by transitioning into new groups and beginning the group development stages once more.
