Abstract/Summary
This particular study attempts to identify characteristics that may be relative to the performance of the RPB supervisors on the job. Identifying some of the factors influencing supervisory performance, should provide a framework for a good Supervisory Development Program. It is an opportunity for evaluating how supervisors have integrated in their "person" the skills that make them effective in the management people.
The primary purpose of this study was to come up with a Supervisory Development Program, based on the characteristics and training needs of the RPB supervisors. It also aimed to determine the factors that related to performance.
The result of this study will most likely foster growth in the behavior of the subjects involved. Actually, within the concept of leadership by example, the "growth" experienced by these supervisors will be stimulating to the staff.
