Abstract/Summary

Using Deep Learning Approach in teaching Gas Laws is Action Research that was conducted with three sections of Grade 9 Students. After securing appropriate permissions and ethics clearance, the researcher asked students to answer a standardized pre-test. Ten active strategies were implemented. Further, the students also had their student journal wherein they were able to write what they have expected, and learned during each day. After the whole duration of the Gas Laws were discussed and learned, the teacher again instructed the students to answer the standardized test as a post test. The results of the study showed that Laboratory Activity, Group Activity, Virtual Laboratory, Discussion, Board work, and Flipped Classroom are the Active Learning Strategies that promoted Deep Learning of Gas Laws in different aspects.
