Abstract/Summary
The problem addressed in this paper is how to appropriate “postmodern non-
absolutist categories” necessary to assess new technology generated phenomenon vis-à-vis interpretation of Philippine society. This coming to terms with ourselves is attempted in this study by the presentation of the Filipino game Anito juxtaposed with the theories of Jean Baudrillard in the discussion of representation in literature for this new age. A kind of interface of this kind is deemed necessary despite what is considered extreme poles situation.
